About Me

Hi there, my name is Chris and I’ve been working on video games for nearly 20 years. I was fortunate to be part of a great group of people who worked on the original Counter-Strike back in the early 2000’s and still to this day get contacted frequently regarding those projects. I am currently trying to upload as much information on various things I’ve been working in the past, especially levels that never got released or were WIP.

After working with Gearbox software, I joined Crytek in Germany, working on a host of titles and other projects inside the company and I’m currently working with the wonderful folks at Ubisoft in Toronto. I had the opportunity to learn from a lot of talented people over the years as well as travel to cool places and do some pretty rad things. I’m looking forward to learning even more in the future.



I get a lot of questions through email regarding Counter-Strike and I’ll try to keep a Q and A here for the most frequent ones:

Q. Can I have the source files to X map?

A. Generally I don’t re-distribute the source files, especially for levels that have been acquired financially already. If I sold the IP, it’s their source to give, not mine. You can ask anyway, it’s on a case by case basis.

Q. I want to remake one of your maps, can I?

A. Sure go nuts! More community content is always good! (credit for the original would always be nice)
